About the Sacred Isles
The Sacred Isles was inspired by Lyn’s work on the Animal Spirits of the Sacred Isles oracle deck. The land we live on has always been a huge part of our lives and our spiritual path. We feel a deep connection to it and have always wanted to find a way to help others connect to it as well. Our dream is to create a space where people can come to connect with the land, connect with their spirituality, and feel supported in their journey.
Why the Sacred Isles?
Why the Sacred Isles and not the British Isles? We didn’t want there to appear dominance over these islands in the North Atlantic. The Romans called Britain ‘Insula Sacra’ – Sacred Island – and we thought that was a beautiful name for all land in the UK and Ireland.
Meet the Team
The Sacred Isles is run by Paul and Lyn Thurman, a couple fascinated by the magic and mystery of the British Isles for many years. They are both certified spiritual coaches and tarot readers who offer their services to anyone who wants to deepen their connection with themselves, their ancestors, and the land.
